
UNITED IS THE WAY TO A THRIVING COMMUNITY
United Way workplace campaigns are coordinated efforts involving our corporate partners, local businesses, non-profit organizations, and individual donors to create opportunities for donating, volunteering, and advocating for our neighbors who need us most.
Workplace campaigns usually run seasonally however they are just one connecting point of a year-round relationship with our partners and individual donors. They typically last 2-4 weeks and can be conducted virtually, in person, or both. During their campaigns, employees are encouraged to donate a portion of their paychecks, participate in activities, and attend special events.
Employee donations make a significant impact by supporting local non-profit organizations whose collective efforts lead to pathways out of poverty for ALICE households on the Peninsula.

That is why United Way mobilizes the kindness of our community and it’s resources to unite our efforts so every person on the Peninsula has an opportunity to thrive.
